What to do

Yesterday, I really did not feel like going outside to do yard work. So, I just sat there and watched the Food Network channel and before I knew it , it was 11:00 am. I did see a recipe I thought I would try. It was a simple and easy desert called Pana Cotta. I had all the stuff to make it so off to the kitchen I went.

Once in the kitchen, it didn't take 5 minuets to do. At least it got me up and going, so I decided to go ahead and make some more chocolate chip cookies. The boy's and the wife had been asking for some. To tell you the truth, I like having one or two of them when I come home from work at night also.

We'll this inspired my wife and she came in to the kitchen and said she was going to make some chocolate no bake cookies, a recipe that she got off the Food Network also. I said.... okay(thinking..oh no!).... Well, the best part I heard was, she said the words NO BAKE. That sounded positive and harmless.

She has tried this recipe before and it's a 50/50 chance if they turn out or not. This was the one time she was on the right side of the 50%. They turned out great!

We'll since we had the desert covered for the day and we had the wings from the big game, GO GATORS! We had the boy's get some board games and made it a family day.

Even though I didn't get any yard work done, it turned out to be a very productive day and time well spent. I learned a new recipe and had quality time with the boys. Brandon and Walker are growing up so fast. That country song that says "don't blink" is true. Before you know it time gets away from you.

God Bless
