You don't have to go to Mcdonalds.

I love egg McMuffins. So, before I finally bought some egg rings, I use to get a tuna fish can and cut both ends off. There was your egg ring. Just butter the inside and place in the hot frying pan, add butter, crack an egg in the ring and break the yoke. Let the egg cook until it is white around the edges and starting to firm up in the center. Lift the ring off, turn the egg and cook for about another minute.

You can also make your own pancake batter and cook pancakes with butter and syrup drizzled into the batter before you turn them. Place the egg on the small pancake add cheese and bacon. Now, you have a McGriddle.

All these things the kids can get involved in if you want them to. They can learn their math by mearsuring the ingreadients.

So, you don't have to crank up the car to have McDonalds. It's a savings all the way around!
